DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Scarsdale, New York seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive design and engineering services for athletic field improvements. The selected company will work collaboratively with the Project Committee to develop field designs, including intermittent reviews of drawings. Services include stormwater analysis, erosion control, modelling, and recommendations for natural turf improvements.

Detailed analysis of artificial turf options for Winston Field is required, focusing on sustainable materials and drainage system design, including substructures for artificial turf. The scope also encompasses designing access roadways, ADA accessible pathways, parking lots, sports fencing, nettings, backstops, bleacher and dugout areas, support buildings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and fencing for privacy.

The vendor will be responsible for creating a construction phasing plan, preparing a project schedule, and providing detailed cost estimates at key design milestones (50% and 100% Design Development). Meetings with the project team and public stakeholders, as well as Village Board presentations, are expected throughout the design process. Final design development drawings should achieve 40% completion of construction documents.
