The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic is conducting market research to identify qualified small business contractors for future large-scale design-build and design-bid-build construction contracts in the Hampton Roads area, Virginia. This opportunity is aimed at Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses with the capability to perform a broad range of construction and renovation services.
The anticipated contract(s) will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Construction Contracts (MACC) covering projects such as new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of various facilities. Facility types may include administrative, industrial, maintenance, warehouse, communications, personnel support, recreational, lodging, medical, training, ranges, airfields, hangars, roads, and others. Tasks may also involve lead or asbestos abatement and work within explosive facilities.
Contractors awarded under this program will be required to manage multiple concurrent task orders, providing all necessary labor, supervision, engineering, design, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and transportation for each project. It is expected that at least five contracts will be awarded, each with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, potentially spanning up to five years.
