DESCRIPTION

The Tobacco Prevention and Cessation program in Indiana is seeking vendors to provide a comprehensive data platform. The solution should include support for unlimited users, software server hosting, data backups, an email-based help desk for software-related support, and printable electronic user guides in PDF format.

The platform must enable visualization and reporting of both tobacco and alcohol retail outlet locations, including assessments of density and proximity to schools and other retailers. It should also support the visualization and reporting of in-store assessment data. Additionally, vendors are required to provide in-person or web-based training for state and local-level tobacco prevention and public health practitioners, as well as online trainings focusing on topics related to the retail environment and place-based public health, aimed at knowledge-building for grantees.

Community health strategies to diminish the influence of commercial tobacco advertising and marketing are a key component. The selected vendor is expected to facilitate evidence-based approaches through the proposed platform.
