The government authority in Wichita, Kansas seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive refresh of its on-premises data center. This project includes the supply and installation of modern compute infrastructure, GPU acceleration for light-duty artificial intelligence workloads, enterprise-grade all-flash NVMe storage with at least 200 TB effective capacity, and high-speed networking capabilities.
The scope also calls for redundant Top-of-Rack (ToR) Ethernet switching, preferably using Cisco Nexus equipment, to support the entire compute and storage environment. The solution must deliver a scalable, high-performance three-tier architecture with support for VLAN segmentation, virtualization, network and storage connectivity, and optional support for medium-scale AI and data science workloads using suitable GPUs.
Additionally, the selected vendor is expected to provide long-term operational support, ensuring high availability and low latency, as well as 24x7x365 technical support for both hardware and system software components.
