The government authority in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is seeking a vendor to provide ongoing cybersecurity managed detection and response (MDR) services over a three-year contract period. The selected provider will deliver a comprehensive service including managed risk management, security awareness training, and advanced detection and response on a centralized platform.
The MDR solution must be capable of proactively monitoring for and responding to a wide range of cyber threats, such as malware, phishing attacks, and other cyber-attacks, ensuring real-time detection and mitigation. The platform should be based on open XDR architecture to deliver an integrated and comprehensive security posture.
Required security measures include encryption of sensitive data both in transit and at rest, robust access controls to restrict sensitive information to authorized personnel, and features designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. The overall objective is to ensure operational continuity and the protection of sensitive government data from evolving cyber threats.
Interested vendors are expected to submit all questions regarding the RFP no later than June 8, 2026.
