DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in Washington, DC is seeking vendors to provide cyber information security and operations services. With the increasing integration of networked systems, connected devices, and digital platforms across the aviation ecosystem, cybersecurity is recognized as a vital element for national security and economic stability.

The agency anticipates requirements for supporting cybersecurity testing, risk assessment, and operational security services. These services must address complex operational technology (OT) environments, safety–critical infrastructure, and distributed systems, which differ from traditional enterprise IT settings. Responsibilities include conducting cybersecurity testing in laboratory, simulation, and operational contexts while maintaining safety for agency operations, supporting regression testing and validation of remediation steps, and assisting with tabletop exercises and operational cyber response planning.

Additional objectives involve evaluating system interdependencies throughout agency operational, mission support, and R&D domains, assessing current cybersecurity posture, identifying capability gaps and risks, evaluating new tools and techniques, and recommending improvements. The contract period is for one year.
