Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to develop, engineer, and fabricate a custom Virtual Reality (VR) simulation game. The primary objective is to engage and educate middle and high school students on career opportunities in the advanced resilient energy sector. The project involves creating a turn-key VR simulation game and introductory video that collectively introduce students to six essential roles within modern energy infrastructure.
The VR game must include features such as role-specific task completion, training modules, and various scoring mechanisms for both individual and team performance. It should offer realistic, interactive gameplay and be designed for deployment in limited physical spaces, specifically 3x3 feet per player. Integration with a larger mobile outreach platform is required, as the game will be hosted inside an RV lab for public engagement.
Additional deliverables include developing an analytics dashboard capable of posting leaderboards and generating end-user rating reports, supporting both career awareness and team-building in a safe, gamified environment. The contract is set for a one-year period, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for April 27, 2026.
