A Louisiana utility board is seeking a qualified vendor to provide an integrated, cloud-based Customer Information System (CIS) software and associated services. The solution must be vendor-hosted and include all necessary software, hardware specifications, implementation support, project management, and related technology services.
The new CIS should support utility billing, customer relationship management (CRM), business analytics, and seamless account linking to specific addresses and meters. Additional requirements include integration with SmartMeter technology for monthly meter reads, functionality for tracking overdue accounts and administering customer payment plans, and interoperability with existing financial, enterprise asset management, and customer portal systems.
This transition is prompted by the current reliance on the Microsoft Dynamics GP platform, which will be unsupported after 2029. The successful vendor will provide a robust, future-proof solution that enables efficient utility management and enhanced customer service through data analytics and system integration capabilities.
