The Defense Health Agency (DHA), through its Defense Healthcare Management Systems Contracting Division, is seeking innovative commercial solutions to prototype customer care enhancements. This opportunity is part of the Customer Care Prototyping initiative for 2025–2026, supporting the mission effectiveness of Department of Defense personnel, with a focus on improving customer care activities.
The agency is interested in collaborating with vendors capable of executing prototype projects under other transaction agreements, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. § 4022. Prototype efforts may include developing proofs of concept, modeling new business processes, conducting reverse engineering to address technology obsolescence, piloting or applying novel commercial technologies for defense healthcare, engaging in agile development, and designing or demonstrating operational utilities. Projects may combine these elements to deliver transformative improvements in defense healthcare customer care.
