DESCRIPTION

An agency in Ohio seeks a qualified vendor to develop a custom Point-of-Sale (POS) software solution designed specifically for managing transit sales and inventory operations. The system must accommodate multiple payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile wallets. In addition to tracking fare media inventory, the new POS software will require seamless integration with the EZFare Back Office platform, enabling customer service representatives to add funds to customers’ virtual stored value accounts and wallets.

The selected developer will be responsible for the full implementation of the POS solution, from initial development through launch. Comprehensive support during the hyper-care period immediately following deployment will also be required to ensure successful adoption and ongoing system performance. Vendors interested in this opportunity should have a proven track record in delivering custom transaction and inventory software solutions, particularly for transit or similar environments.
