DESCRIPTION
A government authority located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is seeking a vendor to provide custodian services to act as a depository for insurers’ securities and other properties. The selected custodian will be responsible for managing custodial accounts, including making purchases, sales, and deliveries of securities as directed by the superintendent or their designee.
Duties include collecting interest and other income from securities, distributing these proceeds as directed by insurers or providers, and executing necessary declarations, affidavits, and ownership certificates to facilitate collection of income or principal payments. The custodian will also be tasked with billing and collecting custodial fees from insurers and supplying detailed transaction reports, lists of assets, and all other available account information to insurers and providers.
