City Of Highland Park
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Highland Park, Illinois seeks a vendor to provide cross connection control program management services. The selected company will be responsible for managing data related to the annual testing of all backflow prevention devices connected to the city's water distribution system. Responsibilities include sending annual testing reminders, receiving and recording backflow prevention device test reports, and coordinating follow-up actions with the city to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
The vendor will need to adapt the existing city database for their use, maintain and update device records to reflect new installations, changes in ownership, device replacement or removal, and participation in the city’s voluntary ‘safety lock-out’ program for lawn irrigation systems. Timely summary reports and notifications regarding devices that are out of compliance must also be provided to the city. The contract period will be for one year.
