A cosmetology school in Utah is seeking a comprehensive salon management system to support its educational and operational needs. The new system must be scalable and capable of efficiently managing salon and cosmetology school functions, including student progress tracking, salon service management, dispensary oversight, attendance recording, and robust reporting features.

Key requirements include the ability to track student hours and services, monitor students' activities on the salon floor, and facilitate dispensary operations. The system should allow students to collect and request items needed for services, with all transactions recorded through the software. Additional functionalities needed are inventory management—such as tracking total inventory value, inventory turnover, and SKU counts—and detailed attendance tracking, covering categories like late arrival, sick days, vacation, and testing periods. Other features include displaying upcoming services, providing clock-in and clock-out capabilities, and offering access to client work-in-progress.

The solution must offer integrated payment processing, specifically supporting Chase Payment Tech as the merchant provider. Direct or authorized gateway integration with credit card terminals is required to streamline transactions, reduce manual entry, and mitigate errors while improving efficiency.
