The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive correctional food program service for a government facility located in Rochester, Minnesota. Staff must adhere strictly to security and training protocols, screening procedures, and movement restrictions, with all tools, chemicals, supplies, and related items closely controlled and inventoried.
The vendor is responsible for supporting facility safety and security, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and delivering consistent and cost-effective food services. Responsibilities include calibrating all thermometers on at least a weekly basis and providing documentation on refrigeration, freezer, food, dishwasher, and dry storage area temperatures upon request.
The provider must supply the necessary expertise, management, skill, and staffing for reliable meal service, sanitary food handling, and supervision. Adequately trained full-time staff and sufficient backup coverage must be ensured to address all personnel absences, including vacations, sick leave, resignations, or discharge.
