This RFP seeks a vendor to provide contractual services related to maintenance and monitoring of in-lieu fee compensatory wetland mitigation sites and regulated wetland and buffer areas for a government authority in Annapolis, Maryland. The selected contractor will ensure sites provide a range of valuable wetland functions, such as habitat for diverse species, enhanced water quality, flood attenuation, groundwater recharge, and improved aesthetics.
Responsibilities include both maintenance and monitoring, with a commitment from two to five years following planting. Maintenance activities at completed forested wetland mitigation sites will be guided by health assessments and require approval from funding partners. Services encompass invasive species treatment, tree planting at additional sites, vegetation identification and management, as well as adaptive field problem-solving.
The contract also covers signage maintenance and replacement. The contract period will be for one year.
