The government authority in Florida is seeking a vendor to provide ongoing architectural, engineering, geotechnical, surveying, and construction support services. Architectural services may include landscape architecture, minor building and facility design such as mechanical rooms, bathrooms, gazebos, LEED design, and the preparation of concept plans and renderings. Civil engineering services may encompass grading, drainage design, roadway and multimodal facility design, water and wastewater systems, lift stations, LEED design, eminent domain property impact analysis, and design of cures for damages, as well as stormwater management systems modeling and design.
Structural design services sought include retaining walls, bridges, drainage structures, and other structures relevant to transportation and site development, in addition to vertical structure design. The traffic analysis component may entail intersection analysis, level of service evaluation, complete street design, parking studies, traffic modeling, and forecasting. Geotechnical services required include soil exploration, testing, and material performance testing.
Surveying requirements cover topographic, boundary, utility surveys, GIS services, and preparation of legal descriptions and easements. Construction support services include contract administration and observation, construction engineering and inspection, value engineering, constructability review, facility and equipment startup assistance, preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, materials or equipment testing, and cost estimating.
