A government authority in SeaTac, WA is seeking a qualified vendor to provide consulting, design, and engineering services for a range of safety planning and traffic engineering projects. The selected firm will manage all aspects of project delivery, including project management, development of a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP), and formulation of an Evaluation and Data Management Plan (EDMP).
Key responsibilities include conducting survey services to inform design, providing traffic engineering and data collection services to support both design and implementation, and coordinating with Mio Vision Technologies to implement Advanced Traffic Signal Performance Measures (ATSPMs) utilizing video detection systems. The vendor will also be responsible for preparing necessary permits and securing environmental clearances in compliance with NEPA and SEPA, as well as coordinating utility relocations if required.
Community engagement is vital, so the vendor will conduct outreach with the public and local agencies. Deliverables include preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates at the 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% design milestones. Additional services involve support during bidding and award phases and providing design expertise throughout construction.
