DESCRIPTION
The government authority in East Point, Georgia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive construction and maintenance services under a one-year Public Works On-Call Construction Services Contract. Scope of services includes sidewalk repairs such as sidewalk slab replacement and trip hazard remediation, installation of ADA ramps, and various concrete works including driveways, header curbs, and curb and gutter. Additional responsibilities involve storm drain repair and drainage improvements, asphalt pavement repairs and maintenance including pothole repair, milling, and resurfacing, as well as utility adjustments and coordination with utility providers.
The project also covers pavement striping, sign relocation and replacement, installation of traffic calming devices, repairs and upgrades to traffic signals and flashing beacons, and replacement of pedestrian streetlights. Sediment and erosion control, preparation of record drawings upon request, installation or replacement of stormwater pipes and structures, and streetscape landscaping are also included in the contract scope.
