The government authority in Waterbury, Connecticut is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive construction services for the renovation of the Chase Building. The contractor will be responsible for all phases of construction, from mobilization through demobilization and project final completion.
Scope includes construction management, procurement and payment of all necessary project-related permits and authorizations, and the establishment and operation of an on-site construction office with consistent staffing. The contractor must provide full site management, schedule, lead, and document regular project and construction progress meetings, and organize meetings with each subcontractor as required. Responsibilities further include tracking approvals of shop drawings, managing change order requests, and maintaining detailed logs.
At project closeout, the vendor must compile and deliver all as-built drawings, warranties, maintenance manuals, and all necessary certificates of compliance and/or occupancy. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 18, 2026, and all questions regarding the project must be submitted by March 25, 2026.
