A government authority in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a contractor for a three-year agreement to provide construction services related to pipeline installation along Greenbriar Rd., from Longleaf Pine Pkwy to Spring Haven Dr. The project entails installing approximately 5,700 linear feet of new 20-inch ductile iron pipe via open cut with poly wrapping, around 610 linear feet of new 24-inch HDPE DR 11 using horizontal directional drilling, and about 106 linear feet of new 12-inch ductile iron pipe across Greenbriar Rd.
Proponents must employ construction practices designed to prevent property damage, such as avoiding cracked driveways, tire ruts in yards, blocked driveway access, accidental service disruptions during tie-ins, excessive equipment noise, and dust generation. The objective is to minimize disruption and ensure a high standard of care for properties adjacent to the project area.
A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for January 6, 2026. This solicitation is well-suited for experienced construction firms with expertise in pipeline installation and best practices for property protection during construction.
