The American Battle Monuments Commission has announced anticipated construction projects for calendar year 2026 at the North Africa American Cemetery in Carthage, Tunisia. Planned works include the construction of a perimeter fence and the renovation of an existing building to serve as a pedestrian screening facility.
These projects are expected to fall under NAICS codes 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) and 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors). Market research supports the use of U.S.–based construction firms for both projects. Experience working with the Department of State or other U.S. Government projects in the region is considered highly desirable.
Interested and qualified contractors are invited to provide a brief capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer, as part of early market research efforts. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.
