DESCRIPTION


The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District is conducting market research to identify suitable construction firms that possess the knowledge, skills, and capability to deliver the Construction of the Athletic Complex at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. This complex will be constructed using a design–bid–build (DBB) project delivery method and must provide the government with a fully completed facility and warranty in accordance with Department of Defense UFC 1–200–01 permanent construction standards.

The project encompasses the development of a consolidated athletic complex, including two softball fields, one multi-sports (soccer) field, dugouts, sidewalks, concrete pads, fencing, ballfield lighting, electrical utility connections, and grading and seeding. The site footprint is under 15 acres, with no vertical construction or demolition work involved. The estimated magnitude of construction cost is between $2 million and $5 million. The period of performance is expected to be 550 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed, with a tentative contract award anticipated for Fiscal Year 2027.

Interested prime contractors must have single-job bonding capability of at least $5 million and demonstrable experience in similar civil engineering projects. Firms should submit a narrative of relevant experience and company information, as outlined, via email by the stated deadline for consideration in this market research effort.
