A solicitation is open for the construction of a staging and marshalling area at Fort Hood. The scope of work includes design-bid-build (DBB) services to establish a staging/marshalling area with container loading aprons to support line haul operations. Key facilities to be constructed are the staging and marshalling areas, an operations building, loading and unloading docks, ramps, non-organizational vehicle parking areas, and building information systems.
The project must incorporate Low Impact Development (LID), utilize Best Management Practices (BMP) for construction and site management, and implement sustainability and energy enhancement measures throughout. All work should conform to applicable federal and local regulations, with a focus on environmentally sound practices.
