A government authority in San Jose, CA, is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services to support the rehabilitation and redevelopment of three affordable housing properties. The selected vendor should possess significant experience in occupied rehabilitation projects and be familiar with Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) requirements.
The scope of work includes both preconstruction and construction phase services. Preconstruction services will encompass master project scheduling, constructability reviews, detailed cost estimating, value engineering, outreach to subcontractors and management of the bidding process, as well as the preparation of a guaranteed maximum price.
