Aldine Independent School District
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Houston, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide construction manager–at–risk services for upcoming projects. Key project personnel are expected to participate in regular meetings with the district and architect to review progress and ensure alignment throughout the project's lifecycle.
Responsibilities include offering recommendations on construction feasibility, such as estimates for alternative designs and materials, preliminary budgets, and identifying potential cost saving opportunities. The construction manager will be responsible for coordinating and integrating the project schedule with the activities of the owner, architect, and construction manager.
During the schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases, the construction manager will prepare detailed cost estimates with supporting data for review by the owner and architect. Additionally, the manager will recommend procurement schedules for long–lead time items and early procurement packages as necessary to meet project timelines.
