DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Iowa is seeking proposals for Construction Manager at Risk services to oversee a forthcoming construction project. The selected vendor will provide comprehensive preconstruction services, including constructability reviews, value engineering, detailed estimating, and the development of project schedules.
As the general contractor, responsibilities will also include participating in design reviews, procuring subcontractors and vendors, and self-performing selected construction tasks. The firm will be required to develop and implement a Construction Emergency Response Plan, Site Safety Plan, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plan, and Environmental Management Plan.
