SUMMARY

Seeking a construction manager at risk for pre-construction, construction, and management services to strengthen Miami's infrastructure and emergency response.

DESCRIPTION

The City of Miami, Florida is seeking an experienced construction manager at risk (CMAR) to provide comprehensive pre-construction, construction, and management services for initiatives aimed at strengthening municipal infrastructure and enhancing emergency response capabilities.

The selected CMAR firm will be responsible for delivering a range of services including design and engineering coordination, assistance with permit approvals, construction management, and oversight throughout project close-out. The scope requires reviewing and validating cost and time estimates prepared by project architects and engineers to ensure project feasibility and accountability.

These infrastructure improvements are focused on mitigating the impacts of storm surge, flooding, and hurricanes, with the ultimate goal of improving emergency response times, crew safety, and the long-term operational reliability of city services. Qualified firms must demonstrate expertise in municipal CMAR projects and the ability to coordinate with city authorities throughout all project phases.
