The City of Clearwater, FL is seeking a qualified firm to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for drainage service projects. The selected construction manager will be responsible for conducting constructability reviews, cost estimating, and value engineering at each design milestone to ensure project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
In addition, the scope includes developing a comprehensive project schedule that covers sequencing, staging, and phasing to maintain essential drainage services and minimize disruptions to the community. The construction manager will also be tasked with identifying long-lead materials and coordinating early procurement and owner direct purchase opportunities in collaboration with the city. This proactive approach is intended to reduce project delays and control costs. The contract period for these services will be one year.
