SUMMARY

Seeking a construction manager at risk for bridge demolition, replacement, and related infrastructure improvements in Reno, Nevada.

DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to oversee a comprehensive bridge project. The selected firm will be responsible for the full demolition and replacement of a bridge using a multi-span girder structure, as well as the reconstruction of Keystone Avenue approaches.

Additional project elements include constructing a new east-side multiuse path connecting to Vine Street, building retaining walls, executing drainage improvements, and managing the relocation and protection of utilities. Geotechnical stabilization measures, maintenance of traffic with appropriate detours and staging, and minimizing disruption to the surrounding area are also required.

The project requires careful planning to avoid falsework in the river, maintain clearance over Riverside Drive, and ensure compliance with all applicable floodway, hydraulic, and environmental permitting standards.
