DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Ocala, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive construction management services for the construction of a new central chilled water plant, proposed to be located north of Building 5. The scope of work includes constructing the plant, relocating all air distribution within the building using air handling units and variable air volume (VAV) units with electric heat, and reusing the existing ductwork throughout the facility.

The entire HVAC system must be integrated with the district’s energy management system through digital controls, ensuring compatibility with the existing remotely accessed control systems and software. The vendor is expected to coordinate all aspects of the controls system installation. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and addressing all project logistics such as transportation, site access, debris disposal, material handling and storage, labor availability, utility access, and site conditions. The initial contract term is one year.
