A government authority in Rockville, Maryland seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive construction management services. During the design phase, responsibilities will include participating in the initial kickoff meeting and partnering workshop, developing the Program of Requirements, conducting feasibility studies with site and building evaluations, offering project cost control recommendations, performing technical and constructability reviews, conducting value engineering analyses, assessing AE performance, and running risk assessment studies. Vendors will also be required to independently review design and value management, as well as ensure timely processing of project correspondence.
In the construction phase, the selected vendor will attend pre-construction and superintendent safety meetings, utility meetings, and assist with the collection, review, and approval of pre-construction documents submitted by contractors. Responsibilities also include performing an initial site walkthrough with permitting agencies, monitoring the project schedule, making recommendations for recovery plans, overseeing landscaping replacement, and overseeing partial electrical work. An optional pre-submission conference will be held on May 1, 2026, and questions must be submitted by May 8, 2026.
