DESCRIPTION

A government authority in New York is seeking a provider for comprehensive construction management services covering both pre-construction and construction phases for the demolition and redevelopment of two projects, as detailed within design documents prepared by the marine engineer of record and Indigo River Architecture and Engineering.

During Phase 1, the selected firm will perform preconstruction services, including cost estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, scheduling, and logistics staging. The role will also involve managing design completion, facilitating pre-purchase procurement, and obtaining necessary permitting approvals. Upon authorization for Phase 2, the firm will oversee all construction management aspects, including contract administration, CPM scheduling, bidding, procurement, quality and cost control (such as negotiating change orders and monitoring quality control tests), site monitoring, and meeting management.

A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for April 14, 2026, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 16, 2026. This opportunity requires expertise in coordinating closely with the project’s design and engineering teams, as well as thorough experience managing government construction projects.
