The government authority in Waterford, Michigan is seeking qualified vendors to provide construction management services for facility and infrastructure improvements funded through bond proceeds. The construction manager will play a pivotal role in planning, estimating, and delivering projects to meet quality expectations and act as an extension of the capital planning and design division.
Responsibilities include comprehensive pre-construction and construction management services, as well as technical guidance throughout all project phases. This includes expert project leadership, estimating and budget control, risk mitigation strategies, management of schedules and timelines, oversight of safety and quality, compliance assurance, transparent reporting, coordination of activities, leadership of the bidding process, construction administration (CA), move management support, occupancy assistance, and final close-out of projects as part of the bond program.
The selected construction manager will ensure the safety of employees and the public, maintain fiscal responsibility, and contribute to the long-term performance of public assets.
