A government authority in Blackshear, Georgia is seeking an experienced construction management firm to provide Construction Management at Risk services for a building project. The scope of work includes overseeing site work, building construction, selected demolition, installation of fixed equipment, and millwork. The chosen firm will integrate into the project during the design development phase, contributing expertise to expedite project completion while upholding the highest standards in design, quality, and cost control.

The selected Construction Manager at Risk will collaborate closely with the design team, validating the preliminary construction budget, participating in project meetings, and providing analysis of alternate construction methods and materials for quality, cost, and schedule improvements. Responsibilities also include reviewing construction documents for constructability, maintainability, and compliance with budget constraints, documenting evaluations, and advising on bid package divisions.

Further duties involve pre-qualifying contractors and vendors, preparing a provisional construction schedule, and developing bidding requirements to ensure rigorous management of time, cost, and quality during construction. The Construction Manager at Risk will also manage the advertisement and distribution of bidding documents. The contract term will extend for one year.
