DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Alhambra, California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive construction management, construction inspection, and materials testing services for an upcoming project. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a project filing system, ensuring proper storage of all project files, and providing regular project progress updates.

Work will also involve the removal and disposal of existing roadside signs as shown in the project contract plans, with the requirement that signs remain in place until replacement signage is installed or no longer needed for public traffic direction, unless directed otherwise. Some signs will be relocated to new specified locations, and each must be reinstalled the same day it is removed. Additional tasks include the removal of traffic stripes and pavement markings according to contract plans, using methods such as wet sandblasting or other approved techniques that avoid damage to pavement surfaces.
