Construction Management at Risk Services

The government authority in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is seeking a qualified firm to provide Construction Management at Risk (CMaR) services, overseeing all phases of a forthcoming construction project. The selected vendor will be responsible for comprehensive construction management, which includes reviewing and recommending adjustments to the project's master schedule, construction budget, and permitting plan as initially developed by the city.

The CMaR provider will collaborate with city officials to create a system for tracking project costs and cash flow, ensuring transparent and accurate financial oversight. Additionally, the firm must assign a professional project scheduler, or utilize an in-house scheduler, with the capability to develop a critical path method (CPM) schedule. This schedule should detail all design work, permit requirements, and any other activities necessary for preparing a preliminary construction timeline.
