A government authority in Orono, Maine, is seeking qualified firms to provide construction management at risk services for the modernization of Boardman Hall. The project aims to transform the facility into a modern, interdisciplinary space that integrates research and learning, supports increased enrollment, and fosters innovation to strengthen both the workforce and local economy.
Key project components include the strategic reallocation of circulation corridors to optimize office space and usable square footage, comprehensive exterior envelope upgrades such as façade restoration, energy-efficient retrofits, and a complete roof replacement. Interior work will involve demolition, reconfiguration, and fit-out to establish new classrooms, teaching and research labs, offices, study spaces, and collaborative areas.
