Mesa County, Colorado, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide construction management and testing services for government projects. Responsibilities include comprehensive oversight of shop drawing and submittal reviews to ensure conformity with project plans and specifications, in coordination with the Design Consultant as needed.
The selected provider will be tasked with reviewing and processing contractor change orders and non-conformances, as well as assessing and reporting any significant impacts to cost, schedule, or quality. Duties also encompass monitoring the project schedule, contractor performance, and compliance with stormwater, drainage, and other required permits and documentation.
Additional responsibilities include facilitating Substantial Completion walk-throughs, preparing punch lists, and verifying resolution of punch list items before recommending final payment. Daily on-site construction observation and documentation—such as progress reports, photographs, and field measurements—are required. The vendor will also develop and maintain a Project Management Plan detailing the procedures for managing project documentation, regulatory requirements, and contract obligations. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by January 14, 2026.
