A government authority in Pleasanton, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide construction management and inspection services. The scope of work includes on-call consultant services that may involve staff augmentation or full construction management support. Services will cover preconstruction meetings, construction administration, office management, procurement oversight, construction documentation, CPM scheduling, and monitoring of the construction schedule.
The selected consultant will also be required to review contract documents and submittals, conduct field engineering, inspect construction activities, review record drawings, ensure quality assurance, coordinate utilities and relocations, monitor safety, and maintain regulatory compliance. In addition, the role includes developing punch lists, analyzing claims and delays, and supporting project close-out. The consultant will prepare and submit project status reports, progress meeting notes, technical reports, and QA/QC reports, utilizing VPM project management software. Experience in both construction management and on-site inspections during active construction phases is required.
The contract period will be for three years, with all questions regarding the RFP to be submitted by April 22, 2026.
