DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Encinitas, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide construction management and inspection services for various assigned projects on an as-needed basis. The selected construction manager will ensure that projects are constructed according to plans and specifications, completed on time and within budget, and will facilitate effective communication between the contractor and third parties throughout the process.
The chosen firm will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed construction documentation. Responsibilities include coordinating with project engineers, contractors, specialty inspectors, utility providers, and other relevant agencies. The vendor will be expected to organize and conduct preconstruction meetings, lead weekly construction progress meetings, and arrange additional meetings as necessary.
