Construction Management and Inspection Services

A government authority in Elmira, CA is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive construction management and inspection services for the wells 18, 19, and 20 project. The selected consultant will oversee project execution to ensure alignment with approved design drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting with project planning and scheduling, facilitating construction-related communications, and coordinating closely with the utilities department, project design engineer, and city operations to minimize disruptions. The consultant will attend bi-weekly project meetings, help address city code compliance and regulatory coordination, and serve as the primary point of contact for construction matters.

The scope of work also involves establishing a document management and tracking system, monitoring the construction schedule, making regular site visits, and preparing detailed monthly project reports. These reports will include daily inspection logs, construction photos and videos, testing results, schedule updates, and recommendations to maintain progress. Additional duties include tracking all project correspondence, managing and documenting change orders, coordinating system shutdowns, and verifying contractor adherence to specifications. The consultant will also be responsible for reviewing as-built documentation and promptly addressing any deviations from contract requirements.
