A government authority in New York is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive construction inspection support services. The scope of work covers a range of construction projects, including asphalt pavement reconstruction, resurfacing, and repairs, as well as Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement reconstruction and repairs. Additionally, the work includes bridge cleaning, painting, rehabilitation, or replacement; culvert cleaning, rehabilitation or replacement; and retaining wall rehabilitation or stabilization.
Further responsibilities will involve sign structure repairs or replacement, installation of pavement markings, drainage and highway safety improvements, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) repairs or installations, and facility repairs, restoration, or construction. The contract may also require on-demand emergency work, material testing, utility permit work, and work zone traffic control. Vendors will be expected to conduct reviews of shop drawings, plant and material inspections, and possibly perform nighttime inspections. The contract duration is set for one year.
