A government authority in South Londonderry, Vermont seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive construction inspection services for an upcoming project. The selected vendor will be responsible for maintaining regular communication and coordination with the municipality, design engineer, and construction contractor(s) throughout the duration of the project.
Key responsibilities include thorough review and understanding of contract plans, specifications, estimates, and special provisions; preparation of daily reports documenting pay item quantities; and maintaining a detailed and annotated photographic record to track construction progress. The inspector will also accompany project stakeholders, such as the design engineer and municipal or state representatives, during site visits, and must promptly report any unusual incidents or accidents within the project area to relevant parties.
