Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS), under contract to the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration Nevada Field Office, is seeking qualified subcontractors to provide construction equipment, experienced Teamster drivers, and maintenance support at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS), located approximately 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas. This initiative will span a two-year period to support ongoing construction activities at the NNSS.
The subcontractor will be required to supply at least four triaxle dump trucks (each with exactly three rear axles and licensed for public road use), and one water truck with a minimum 2,000-gallon capacity, also licensed for road use. Additionally, a minimum of four Teamster drivers, fully qualified and meeting union contract requirements, are needed to operate the provided equipment both on-road and off-road. One maintenance mechanic, qualified to service and repair the specified equipment, is also required.
Subcontractors must provide all necessary travel, maintenance, repair parts, tools, and equipment to fulfill project demands on an as-needed basis, with the contractor providing a minimum of three working days' notice prior to service commencement. Extended workdays, up to 14 hours, may occasionally be required. Fuel and water access will be supplied by the contractor. Prospective subcontractors must have no less than five years of relevant experience in supplying heavy equipment, certified drivers, and maintenance personnel for construction operations.
