A government authority in Bartow, Florida is seeking qualified vendors to provide construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for sidewalk and street lighting projects, including the academy sidewalk. The selected firm will be responsible for monitoring contractor activities on-site, inspecting materials, and ensuring quality assurance by performing sampling and testing of component materials and completed work in accordance with construction contract specifications.
Duties include verifying all contractor activities, coordinating contract administration with parties other than the contractor, and providing verification samples to determine the acceptability of both materials and completed work items. The vendor is also expected to monitor utility construction for compliance, observe and report on foundation work for correct location and elevation, promptly identify and analyze any project issues, and submit detailed monthly progress reports.
All interested vendors are required to submit questions regarding the project by January 12, 2026.
