Brookhaven National Laboratory seeks to procure a Confocal Super Resolution Microscope (SRM). The requested instrument must offer true confocal point scanning, equipped with a tunable white light laser excitation source covering the visible spectrum. It should enable simultaneous multi-line operation with independent intensity control and rapid microsecond-scale switching between excitation regimes.
Required features include broadband spectral detection (approximately 400–850 nm), multiple independently configurable detection channels, FLIM/FCS functionality, and analytical tools supporting functional parameter mapping and FRET. Super-resolution capabilities must provide both 2D and 3D STED nanoscopy throughout the visible spectrum, facilitating super-resolution imaging at around 30 nm lateral resolution.
The instrument must operate within a unified software environment that supports automated calibration, lifetime fitting, super-resolution reconstruction, and be compatible with external analysis platforms.
