The selected vendor will deliver comprehensive confined space program safety services for a government authority in Salem, Oregon. Services include conducting occupational safety and health evaluations specific to confined spaces, performing hazard assessments, and observing entry operations to identify areas for process improvement. The provider will also be responsible for developing detailed guidance on written emergency response and rescue procedures applicable for all confined spaces.
Additionally, the contractor will create a confined space inventory database, cataloging photos, hazard classifications, access points, known hazards, mitigation strategies, and records of previous assessments. Guidance for drafting a written confined space program applicable to all Salem Keizer Public School employees will be supplied, along with comprehensive documentation of recommendations, test results, procedures, evaluations, and assessments. The vendor will also design sample entry permits, associated instructions, and criteria for entry authorization, with a focus on developing strategies for safe entry and minimizing occupational safety and health risks.
The contract period is set for one year.
