The prospective vendor is required to provide comprehensive computer-aided drafting (CAD) and design support services to both internal and external clients. These services encompass the creation, modification, maintenance, and management of facility and infrastructure drawings, as well as related data, utilizing industry-standard CAD software. The vendor must ensure that project room information changes align with Medical Health Systems Space Planning Criteria and assist facility managers in organizing, maintaining, and updating building drawings, plans, and master plans.
Responsibilities also include performing remote updates for changes affecting less than 5,000 square feet within a single contiguous building, which may be handled via phone, web conference, email, or fax. On-site visits to project locations may be required to collect digital files or scan paper documents in cases where digital versions are unavailable. The vendor will review and evaluate engineering design drawings for accuracy and as-built compliance, and provide cost management services including research, planning, estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
