DESCRIPTION

The agency is seeking information regarding solutions for computer-aided dispatch (CAD) interoperability to facilitate secure, real-time, bi-directional exchange of public safety incident and geospatial data across multiple CAD systems. The aim is to enhance interoperability for Continuity of Operations initiatives and align with Next Generation 9-1-1 standards.

Key requirements include enabling real-time CAD-to-CAD data exchange, eliminating the need for manual re-entry of transferred calls, and improving GIS-based situational awareness. Proposed solutions should ensure compliance with industry standards, support comprehensive integration, and provide robust technical support.

The solution must feature seamless bi-directional data exchange, real-time synchronization capabilities, automated call transfers, unit status and resource sharing. GIS and geospatial capabilities need to include integration with Esri or a comparable platform, a common operating map, real-time GIS updates, and support for coordinate transformations. Additional requirements involve secure role-based access control, end-to-end encryption, secure API authentication, real-time incident location sharing, and dynamic updates.
