Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in New York seeks a qualified vendor to conduct a comprehensive transit fare study. The study will assess and evaluate existing fare structures and discounts, benchmark against peer transit agencies, and model potential revenue and ridership impacts using an established modeling tool. The selected vendor is expected to provide thorough analysis and comparisons relevant to the peer agencies being benchmarked.
The project deliverables include both primary and secondary recommended fare structures for various transit services, such as connect, on demand, and access. Additionally, the vendor will be required to produce five-year revenue and ridership projections for each recommended fare structure.
An essential part of the engagement involves designing a robust public participation plan and developing all associated outreach materials. This includes creating digital and paper surveys, presentation boards, and informational handouts in both English and Spanish to ensure broad community involvement and compliance with public engagement standards.
